3 days in Melbourne [November]

Melbourne...

You are breakfast at lunch, dumplings at every hour, clear skies, grey skies, picnics, rooftops, photoshoot locations at every turn, thirty degrees, ten degrees, free tequila, hidden bars, cute fences, johnny depp lookalikes, ponytails with undercuts, grandma blouses on 20 something year old men, old trams, weird left turns, swooping pigeons, positive graffiti, home to my best friend. A full heart of memories. An awesome weekend celebrating the boyfriend's 24th birthday (and apparently he has a hidden photography talent). [iphone 5 and canon 5dmarkiii]

 De Clieu, Fitzroy
full of dumplings and defrosting after nearly freezing. no joke, we tried to catch a cab 100 metres up the road because it was (suddenly) that cold. some other fellas got to the cab first though. pathetic really, but we are queenslanders and we don't dress appropriately.

 Arcadia, Fitzroy

markets. shopping for the picnic.
Much to my disgust, the three of them decided they wanted octopus with our cheese and bread. Too bad they left the package on the counter.

trying to find breakfast in brunswick
found it at Ici.

don't know them but they wanted a photo. happy, friendly people are so great.

Goodbye for now, Melbourne. I have high hopes of calling you my home one day soon
