Berlin with Anna

Travelling alone is great. You can do what you want, when you want, take your time or skip famous monuments altogether, stop to take photos of doors or have pizza twice a day. But there is a crazy amount of excitement that fills you up when a spontaneous change of plans means you get to meet up with a friend in a foreign country. Not just any friend - adorable, dorky, funny Anna. She is one of those girls who make you feel like you are a comedian.

We had two nights and one full day together. We stayed with German friends in an awesome location - which came with our own personal bike tour of Berlin. Danke Torbi.  We photographed the love on the wall, ate ice cream between every single meal, ripped some pants and found a donkey.

Then, best of all, we floated gently down the stream surrounded by the warmth of the summer sun setting, The Lumineers in our ears, sipping cider and eating bread, cheese and olives.

One of my favourite days.

"Top stuff, Berlin."
